No Aldrich Again

We bring some sad news today. The Aldrich almond crop we were hoping to harvest this fall was heavily damaged due to frost and the entire crop was lost. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer Aldrich almonds for another season.

Aldrich almonds are an extremely rare variety of almonds. Even though they're crunchier and finish with a unique aromatic hint of vanilla, very few California orchards still grow them. Smaller, darker, and rounder than most almond varieties, Aldrich almonds are not as popular as Nonpareils, which have that picturesque almond look.

We love all almonds but we really do miss a good Aldrich. It's going to be 2 seasons since we've had a strong Aldrich harvest. Hopefully next season provides us with a wonderful crop.
